The Selection Process Explained
The selection is a two-stage process that begins with shortlisting candidates based on their GATE scores. ISRO will shortlist candidates for a personal interview in a 1:7 ratio based on their GATE performance. The final selection for disciplines like Electronics, Mechanical, and Computer Science will be based on a 50% weightage given to the GATE score and 50% to the interview performance. The interview will assess candidates on their technical and subject knowledge, communication skills, and overall academic record.
How to Apply Online
Applications must be submitted exclusively through the official ISRO website, www.isro.gov.in. Candidates should navigate to the 'Careers' section and find the relevant advertisement, which is ISRO:ICRB:02(EMC-CEPO). The process involves registering with a valid email and mobile number, filling out the application form with personal and educational details, and entering the valid GATE score. After filling the form, applicants must upload the required documents and submit the application before the deadline.
