Chennai to Pondicherry
This is one of the most beautiful coastal drives in South India, stretching about 160 kilometres along the famed East Coast Road (ECR). [12] The journey itself is an attraction, with the Bay of Bengal on one side for most of the way. Key stops include the UNESCO World Heritage site of Mahabalipuram, with its ancient temples, and the Alamparai Fort ruins. Bangalore to Hampi

The journey is long and requires multiple days, with strategic night halts in towns like Dirang or Bomdila.
