in space science and technology. Beyond textbooks, you can participate in national competitions to test your knowledge and passion. The Indian Space Science Olympiad (ISSO) and the National Astronomy STEM & Astrophysics Competition (NASAC) are excellent platforms for students from Class 5 to 12 to dive deep into topics like astronomy, astrophysics, and rocketry. For younger students, particularly those in Class 9, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) offers a flagship two-week residential programme called YUVIKA (YUva VIgyani KAryakram), or the Young Scientist Programme.
