Bookings for a particular day close at 10:00 AM on the previous day, so planning ahead is crucial. You can book for a maximum of six people in a single registration. What to See This Season
The August opening showcases a variety of summer annuals and indigenous Indian flowers like Gul-Mehndi, Aparajita, and Varsha Phool. A major new attraction for this year is the 'Babbling Brook', a landscaped water feature with a meandering stream and reflecting pool designed to be a tranquil space. For younger visitors, the Bal Vatika (Children's Garden) is a highlight, featuring a treehouse and Nature's Classroom near a 225-year-old Sheesham tree. The 15-acre estate also includes the Bonsai Garden, Tactile Garden, and the main Central Lawn.
Getting There
Visitor entry and exit are handled exclusively through Gate No. 35 of the Rashtrapati Bhavan complex, located on North Avenue Road. The most convenient way to reach the venue via public transport is to take the Metro to the Central Secretariat station. From there, a complimentary shuttle bus service is available for visitors. These shuttles run every 30 minutes between 9:30 AM and 6:00 PM, ferrying people from the metro station to the entry gate.
