For the best scenery on the journey from Mumbai to Goa, try to get a seat on the left side of the train. This side offers superior views of the valleys and the Dudhsagar Falls. For the return journey from Goa to Mumbai, the right side is preferable. While Non-AC coaches allow you to fully immerse in the sounds and smells of the monsoon, AC coaches provide comfort from the humidity.
