Western Railway has also introduced special fare trains connecting Gujarat and Maharashtra, with services from Valsad to Velankanni and between Ahmedabad and Darbhanga extended through July. For those travelling between north and south, South Central Railway has extended services on the Kanpur–Bengaluru and Prayagraj–Hubballi routes until September 2026. Furthermore, to cater to festive demand, special trains have been announced from Chennai to Kollam and Mangaluru for the Onam season.
