This spike in indoor humidity, especially in poorly ventilated spaces, creates the perfect breeding ground for mould, mildew, and dust mites. A dedicated drying zone contains this moisture, protects your health, and prevents that persistent musty smell that clings to fabrics that take too long to dry. Choose Your Command Centre
The ideal drying zone is a well-ventilated area you can temporarily designate for the task. This could be a covered balcony, a utility area, a guest room, or even a corner of a larger bedroom. The most critical factor is airflow. Without it, you are simply moving moisture from your clothes into the surrounding air, where it will linger. If possible, choose a room where you can crack open a window without letting rain in. Using an exhaust fan in a nearby bathroom or kitchen can also help pull the damp air out.
