These "proof of work" assets move beyond claims and offer verifiable proof of competence, giving recruiters the confidence they need to move a candidate to the next stage.
For Companies: How to Validate Real Skills
Companies must also adapt their processes to effectively identify top talent. Rather than trying to detect whether a CV was written by AI, the focus should be on validating skills through practical means. This includes implementing job simulations, technical assessments, and case studies that mirror real-world tasks. Behavioural interview questions that ask candidates to describe specific situations and how they handled them can also cut through rehearsed answers. By redesigning job descriptions to focus on required competencies instead of degrees, companies can widen their talent pool and reduce bias. Ultimately, the goal is to create a hiring process that tests for the skills needed on day one, rather than just the ability to write a good resume.
