The ISRO Centralised Recruitment Board (ICRB) has released a notification for 93 vacancies for the post of Scientist/Engineer 'SC'. This recruitment aims to bring fresh talent into various ISRO centres and units across the country, including hubs of innovation
in Bengaluru, Thiruvananthapuram, and Ahmedabad. The roles are spread across several core engineering disciplines, offering a wide range of opportunities for qualified candidates. What Are The Open Positions?
The vacancies cater to a diverse set of engineering specialisations, crucial for ISRO's ongoing and future missions. The specific breakdown includes 35 positions for Electronics engineers, 26 for Mechanical engineers, and 13 for Computer Science engineers. The primary eligibility criterion for these posts is a B.E./B.Tech or an equivalent degree in the relevant engineering discipline from a recognised university. Candidates must have secured a minimum aggregate of 65% marks or a CGPA of 6.84 on a 10-point scale. A key requirement for this particular recruitment drive is a valid GATE score from either 2025 or 2026 in the corresponding subject paper.
