For most travellers coming from within Goa (e.g., Madgaon or Vasco da Gama), Kulem is the most convenient station and the primary starting point for jeep safaris. The jeep safari is a shared service, which helps keep the cost down. A single spot in a jeep (which typically seats seven people) costs approximately ₹850 per person. This price usually includes the forest entry fee and a compulsory life jacket rental for swimming at the base of the falls. You can book your spot at the Kulem ticket counter on the day of your visit. Some online pre-booking options exist, but booking directly at the counter is the most common method. The ride itself is a bumpy but thrilling 45-minute journey through the forest and across streams, adding to the adventure. Remember to carry cash for these fees, as digital payments may not be available.
