Next, a primer tailored to your skin’s needs—be it for luminosity, mattifying, or smoothing pores—creates the perfect surface for makeup to glide on and last longer. Some makeup artists even mix a drop of liquid highlighter or glow serum into their primer or foundation to boost that lit-from-within radiance.
