Affordable Stays and Transport in Krabi
For accommodation, Krabi Town offers cheaper guesthouses and hostels than the more tourist-centric Ao Nang, with dorm beds often available for 250-350 THB. While Ao Nang provides easier access to island tours, staying in town can save you significantly. The most effective way to slash costs is by renting a scooter for about 150-300 THB per day. This one move replaces expensive taxis or Grab rides for trips between beaches and attractions like the Tiger Cave Temple. For shorter trips, motorcycle taxis are a cheap and fast option.
