That moment on a steep incline when you move your foot from the brake to the accelerator is often filled with a brief panic about rolling backwards. Hill Hold Assist, also called Hill Start Assist, is designed to prevent exactly that. Sensors detect when your car
is on a slope, and the system automatically holds the brake pressure for a few seconds after you release the pedal. This gives you ample time to press the accelerator and move forward smoothly without the dreaded rollback, reducing stress in traffic and preventing minor accidents. Engine Braking: The Unsung Hero of Descents
