Ho Chi Minh City: The Bustling Finale
End your journey in the energetic hub of Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), still often called Saigon. The city is a whirlwind of motorbikes, skyscrapers, and historical landmarks. Visit the War Remnants Museum and the Cu Chi Tunnels to understand Vietnam's recent history. The backpacker district is centred around Pham Ngu Lao street, where you can find some of the cheapest hostels, food, and nightlife in the country. A dorm bed can be as low as ₹500. Street food is king here, with endless options to keep your daily food budget under ₹700. From HCMC, you can book a cheap day trip to explore the Mekong Delta before flying home.
