A staggering 105 km of this line will run through 17 tunnels, including one that is over 15 km long, and cross 35 bridges over rivers and gorges. Targeted for completion by December 2029, this route will connect key pilgrimage sites like Devprayag and Rudraprayag, and will be of major strategic importance. Once operational, this line will undoubtedly become one of the most spectacular VistaDome journeys in the country, offering unparalleled views deep within the Garhwal Himalayas.

A seat in the VistaDome coach is priced at approximately 1.1 times the base fare of the executive class on the same train, making it an affordable luxury. For the best views, travel during the post-monsoon months from September to November when the skies are clear and the landscape is lush.
