The good news is you can fight back against the dampness. The ideal indoor humidity level for sleeping is generally between 40% and 60%. If your air conditioner has a 'Dry Mode' or 'Monsoon Mode', use it. This function is specifically designed to remove excess moisture from the air without over-cooling the room, making it a powerful tool during the rainy season. Running it for an hour before bed can make a significant difference. A dehumidifier is another excellent investment for maintaining optimal humidity. For a more traditional approach, ensure good ventilation. Whenever it's not raining, open windows on opposite sides of the room to create a cross-breeze and air out the space.
