Private companies like Skyroot Aerospace, Agnikul Cosmos, and Pixxel are not just launching rockets; they are building satellite constellations, developing 3D-printed engines, and analyzing vast amounts of data from orbit. This creates demand for aerospace software engineers, satellite data analysts, mission operations specialists, and remote sensing experts who use satellite imagery for agriculture and disaster management. Beyond core technical roles, the industry also requires professionals in space law and policy, finance, and marketing to support this new commercial frontier. Your Launchpad: Key Educational Pathways
The journey to a space career begins in school. A strong foundation in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) during Class 11 and 12 is essential for most technical and research roles.
