The new Vande Bharat Express, designated as train numbers 26903/26904, will connect Surat and Udaipur City, covering a distance of approximately 690 kilometres. This journey is expected to take around seven and a half hours, a significant reduction compared
to the eight-to-nine-hour road trip. The train is scheduled to run six days a week, with no service on Tuesdays. The service from Surat will depart at 6:10 AM, arriving in Udaipur at 1:40 PM. For the return journey, the train will leave Udaipur at 3:35 PM and reach Surat at 11:00 PM. Key stops along this crucial route include Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand, Maninagar, Asarva, Himmatnagar, Shamlaji Road, Dungarpur, and Zawar, linking several important commercial and cultural centres in Gujarat and southern Rajasthan.
