To deregister a UPI ID, scroll to your UPI section, tap 'Manage Bank Accounts,' select the account, and tap 'Deregister'. You might need to confirm the deletion.
Steps for Removing Details on Flipkart
Flipkart's process is very similar. Taking a minute to do this can put you back in the driver's seat of your spending. 1. Open the Flipkart app and tap on 'Account' at the bottom of the screen. 2. Under the 'Payment' heading, select 'Saved Cards & Wallet'. 3. You will see a list of your saved cards. Clearing Your Wallet on Other Apps (Myntra, etc.)
Most other e-commerce and lifestyle apps, like Myntra, Nykaa, or BigBasket, follow a similar logic. The relevant settings are almost always found in your main account or profile section. Look for menu items named 'Payments', 'Saved Cards', 'My Account', or 'Wallet'. Once there, you should find a list of your saved payment methods with an option to 'Remove', 'Delete', or 'Edit'. Sometimes you may need to tap on the specific card or UPI ID to see the removal option. While some older forum posts suggest contacting customer care, most modern apps now allow you to manage this directly for security and privacy reasons.
