He acknowledged that the production faced some hurdles, including a few injuries he sustained during filming, which caused some start-and-stop moments. However, he stated that everything is now "fixed" and the shoot is nearly complete, promising to deliver a film that gives "peace to the heart." This confirmation dispels any speculation about the film being pushed, with SRK confidently stating, "King akela kaafi hai" (King alone is enough).
A Father-Daughter Action Duo
One of the most talked-about aspects of 'King' is the on-screen collaboration between Shah Rukh and Suhana Khan. While Suhana made her acting debut in the 2023 streaming film 'The Archies,' this will be her first major theatrical release. The film reportedly features a mentor-protégé dynamic, where SRK’s character, a seasoned assassin, trains Suhana's character. Reports from late 2025, confirmed by filmmaker Farah Khan, revealed that Shah Rukh has been personally training Suhana for the demanding action sequences, essentially turning the set into a training ground. The action is described as a raw and sleek style, involving international stunt teams to prepare the actors.

Contrary to early speculation that SRK might have an extended cameo, it is now clear he plays a full-fledged lead role.
