These short routines are popular because they're accessible, but their real value comes from how they support your other fitness goals.
Why Strength Lifters Need Mobility
Neglecting mobility can limit your strength gains and increase your risk of injury. Strength training, especially repetitive movements like squats, deadlifts, and bench presses, can lead to muscle tightness and restricted joints over time. Incorporating mobility work addresses these issues directly. Better mobility allows for a greater range of motion, meaning you can perform exercises with better form—think deeper squats or a more stable overhead press.
