For a targeted approach on your legs, you'll need two deep containers. Fill one with warm water (around 35-45°C) and the other with cold water (around 10-15°C). It's wise to use a thermometer to ensure safe temperatures. A common, effective protocol involves a 3:1 or 4:1 ratio. Immerse your legs in the warm water for three to four minutes. Then, immediately switch to the cold water for one minute. Repeat this cycle three to five times, making sure to end your session with the cold immersion to help reduce any lingering inflammation. The entire process should take between 15 and 25 minutes.
