For travelers coming from Jammu, the typical route involves reaching Banihal by road and then boarding the train to journey into the valley. The best time to travel depends on the experience you seek: choose winter (December to February) for snow, spring (March to May) for blossoms, and summer (June to August) for lush greenery.
