After a slower-than-expected start in June, which saw significant rainfall deficits in some areas, the Southwest Monsoon is now gaining momentum. The IMD has confirmed that conditions are favourable for the monsoon to advance further into parts of Gujarat,
Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand over the next three to four days. This increased activity brings much-needed rain but also necessitates caution. The current weather pattern is a complex mix, with intense rainfall in some parts of the country while others, like Uttar Pradesh, continue to experience heatwave conditions.
Region 1: Northeast and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal
