Shah Rukh Khan himself has confirmed the project, even revealing he suffered some injuries during a shoot that involved several stops and starts, but assured fans that he has recovered and filming is nearly complete. The scale of 'King' is shaping up to be one of the largest in modern Indian cinema. While early budget estimates were around Rs 200 crore, credible reports now suggest the production cost has soared to approximately Rs 350-450 crore.
