The projected growth translates to a 3-4% increase in the sector's total GVA, a significant boost driven by intelligence and speed rather than scale alone.
From Land Deals to Launch Day
The most significant gains are expected in the early stages of development. The report highlights that GenAI can slash the time spent on evaluating land deals by around 50%, enabling developers to analyze up to two and a half times more opportunities than they can currently. This technology can automate complex feasibility studies, assess seller credibility, and generate financial models in a fraction of the time. This acceleration continues into the launch phase. By automating and optimising design, marketing, and planning processes, GenAI is expected to shorten project launch timelines by approximately 30%. For developers, this means moving from concept to market much faster, capturing market trends more effectively, and improving capital turnover.

Once a project is ready for market, GenAI promises to transform the sales process. The report estimates that developers who adopt these tools could see a 30-50% jump in sales velocity. This is achieved through hyper-personalised marketing campaigns, AI-generated property listings, and intelligent chatbots that can handle customer queries 24/7. Instead of generic brochures, potential buyers could experience virtual tours tailored to their tastes or receive instant, detailed answers to their questions. The technology can also drastically reduce customer acquisition costs, in some cases by 20-50%, by more accurately identifying and targeting potential leads.
