Thoseghar Falls, Satara

Bhandardara and Randha Falls
Nestled in Ahmednagar district, Bhandardara is a classic monsoon destination, and Randha Falls is its crown jewel. Formed by the Pravara River, the waterfall plunges 170 feet into a rugged gorge, creating a powerful and dramatic spectacle, especially between July and September. The area is surrounded by dense greenery and is often referred to as a photographer's dream. The drive itself is an experience, with sheets of water flowing over the roads and misty clouds enveloping the landscape. This region is also a haven for nature lovers and trekkers, with nearby attractions like the Harishchandragad Fort. It is particularly famous among bikers and road-trippers from Mumbai and Pune who come to witness the dramatic green valleys and the numerous waterfalls that appear around every bend.
