Consider the size and weight of your cat—a large Maine Coon will need a much sturdier and more spacious platform than a petite Singapura. The covering is also important. While sisal is fantastic for scratching areas, the lounging surface should be comfortable, perhaps with a removable, washable fleece or carpet cover. Ensure it’s positioned in a window that gets a good amount of sun, as there’s little a cat loves more than a warm, sunny spot to nap.
