From Land Deal to Launch Day
The impact of GenAI spans the entire property lifecycle, starting from the very first step: acquiring land. The report suggests that AI can slash the time for evaluating land deals by half and cut down land-closure turnaround times by 30-35%. By using AI to run automated feasibility models and seller assessments, developers can analyze up to 2.5 times more deals than they do today. Once a project is greenlit, GenAI can accelerate product launch timelines by around 30% by helping generate and optimize architectural designs and project plans. This compression of the 'land-to-launch' cycle is a key source of the projected value increase.

For home buyers, the most visible changes will be in how properties are marketed and sold. Developers stand to see a 30-50% improvement in sales velocity, the pace at which properties are sold. This is achieved through hyper-personalised customer outreach, where AI analyses buyer data to deliver the right information at the right time. It also includes creating immersive virtual tours and photorealistic 3D models that give buyers a true sense of a property from anywhere.
