The most significant record to tumble during his innings was one that had stood for nearly six decades. At just 15 years and 157 days, Sooryavanshi became the youngest player in the history of the Duleep Trophy to score a half-century. He reached the milestone

Had he reached three figures, he would have broken a record set by the legendary Sachin Tendulkar.
