An All-Inclusive Journey to Japan
The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced a special 8-night, 9-day group tour package from Mumbai, titled “Japan – The Golden Route with Hiroshima”. Scheduled to depart on October 25, 2026, this tour is designed for travellers
who prefer a well-organised international trip where the major logistics are handled for them. The package provides an end-to-end experience, combining air travel, accommodation, meals, and guided sightseeing into a single booking, allowing travellers to immerse themselves in the experience without worrying about the details.
Tokyo: The Modern Metropolis
The adventure begins in Japan's bustling capital, Tokyo. The itinerary is packed with iconic sights that showcase the city's dynamic character. Travellers will get to experience the world-famous Shibuya Crossing, a mesmerizing scramble of humanity and neon lights. The tour also includes visits to the ancient Senso-ji Temple, the towering Tokyo Skytree for panoramic views, the electronics hub of Akihabara, and the immersive digital art museum teamLab Planets. This blend of historic landmarks and cutting-edge attractions provides a comprehensive introduction to one of the world's most exciting cities.
Nature, Culture, and the Bullet Train
Leaving the capital behind, the tour heads towards the majestic Mount Fuji, with a visit to the 5th Station for breathtaking views, weather permitting.
