Dhawan and Cheteshwar Pujara. As a right-arm fast-medium bowler, he showed immense potential, securing 12 wickets in just three first-class matches. However, a severe elbow injury in 2007 brought his cricketing dreams to an abrupt halt. Forced to give up the game, Sandhu shifted his focus to his other passion: music. The world may have lost a cricketer, but it gained a chart-topping singer and actor who, fittingly, made his Hindi film debut playing cricketer Madan Lal in the movie '83'.
Saqib Saleem: From State Cricketer to a Star
Long before his acting debut, Saqib Saleem’s life revolved around the 22-yard pitch. A dedicated cricketer until the age of 20, he played at the state level for both Delhi and Jammu & Kashmir.
