The Indian Space Science Olympiad (ISSO) is a prominent nationwide quiz competition for students from Class 5 to 12, covering astronomy and space science. Similarly, the Indian Space Olympiad (ISO) and the National Astronomy STEM & Astrophysics Competition (NASAC) challenge students on a wide range of topics, from rocket propulsion to astrobiology. ISRO also collaborates on events like the Model Rocketry and CanSat India Student Competition, where teams design and launch model rockets, giving them a real mission experience. Visit a Planetarium or Science Centre
For a more immersive experience, a visit to a local planetarium or science museum is a must. Institutions like the Nehru Planetarium in Delhi and Mumbai conduct a wide range of activities for students, including sky shows, workshops, and public lectures.
