A flight-only or hotel-only booking will not make you eligible for the visa fee waiver. You cannot apply for this free visa independently. The offer is exclusively available through participating travel partners and online travel agencies (OTAs) that have partnered with DCT Abu Dhabi for this promotion. Companies like Akbar Travels, MakeMyTrip, and Thomas Cook India are among the listed partners. When booking your trip, you must confirm with the travel agency that your package qualifies for the complimentary UAE entry visa programme. The travel partner will then handle the visa processing, either through a DCT-appointed company that bills the tourism department directly or by getting a reimbursement for the visa cost.
Distinguishing from Other Visa Types

The UAE also offers a visa-on-arrival facility for Indian passport holders who have a valid visa or residence permit from the US or the EU, which comes with a fee.
