The northern part of the beach is rocky, while the southern end offers a pleasant stretch of sand, providing different landscapes to explore during a quiet afternoon. Just north of the main town, Serenity Beach offers a quieter atmosphere compared to the more central Promenade Beach. It is a popular spot for surfing, with gentle waves suitable for beginners, and several local schools offer lessons. The 1.5-kilometre stretch of golden sand provides ample space to find a quiet spot for sunbathing, yoga, or simply enjoying a peaceful walk. The beach is particularly beautiful and less crowded during sunrise. While it has a few charming cafes, it avoids the heavy commercialisation of other areas, allowing it to live up to its peaceful name.
