For Indian passport holders, gone are the days of tedious embassy visits. Azerbaijan offers a streamlined electronic visa system called the ASAN Visa, making the first step of your journey incredibly simple. You can apply entirely online from the comfort
of your home. The standard tourist e-visa permits a single-entry stay of up to 30 days and is valid for 90 days from its issue date. To apply, you'll need a digital copy of your passport (valid for at least six months from your arrival date), a passport-sized digital photograph, and a credit or debit card for payment. Head to the official government portal, evisa.gov.az, to start the process. Fill in your details carefully, upload the required documents, and pay the fee. The standard fee is approximately $29 USD (around ₹2,450), which includes the government fee and a service charge.
