Famous for its aromatic coffee plantations, Araku is home to India's first organic coffee brand grown by tribal communities. Beyond the coffee, the valley offers attractions like the million-year-old Borra Caves, with their stunning stalactite and stalagmite formations, the cascading Chaparai Waterfalls, and the Tribal Museum, which provides insight into the local way of life. Many travellers choose to explore these sights before heading back, often opting for a road journey on the return leg to experience the Ghats from a different angle.

The Vistadome coach is attached to the Visakhapatnam-Kirandul Passenger train (Train No. 18551), which typically departs from Visakhapatnam early in the morning, around 6:45 AM. Given the extreme popularity of these coaches, booking tickets well in advance is highly recommended, especially for travel on weekends and during peak tourist season from October to February. Tickets for the Vistadome coach, designated as 'EV' or Executive Class on booking platforms like the IRCTC website, sell out quickly. While the journey itself is the main attraction, the train also passes key stations like Borra Guhalu, allowing for planned excursions.
