What makes this even better is that this price applies to both single-entry and multiple-entry visas. To budget accurately, you must combine the embassy fee and the VFS service charge. The calculation is straightforward: ₹500 (Visa Fee) + ₹800 (VFS Service Charge) = ₹1,300. This is the minimum mandatory amount you will pay to submit your Japan visa application. Keep in mind that this does not include any optional services. For example, if you want your passport delivered to your home after processing, you can opt for a courier service, which costs approximately ₹550 extra. Since the embassy fee for Indian nationals is the same for both single and multiple-entry visas (₹500), it can be advantageous to apply for a multiple-entry visa if you are eligible.
