Coimbatore is currently hosting the 24th edition of Agri Intex, a premier agricultural trade fair that has become a vital annual event for the nation's farming community. Organized by the Coimbatore District Small Industries Association (CODISSIA), the five-day
expo, running from July 9th to 13th, 2026, transforms the CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex into a bustling hub of innovation. This year, nearly 500 companies from across India and several foreign countries, including Italy, Japan, and the US, are spread across 660 stalls. The event is far more than a simple showcase; it's a dynamic platform connecting farmers, engineers, entrepreneurs, and policymakers. According to its creators, a single charge can power up to six hours of farm activities, making it a practical choice for small to medium-sized farms. These are not just theoretical concepts but market-ready tools that farmers can evaluate for cost-effectiveness and suitability for their specific needs.
