A key player in this space is FutureSkills Prime, a joint initiative by MeitY and NASSCOM, which aims to transform India into a digital talent nation. It provides access to AI courses aligned with the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF), ensuring they are valued by employers. Reinforcing this push, the Prime Minister recently announced a major initiative to train one crore youth in AI skills within the next year, aiming to position India's youth as global leaders in the field. The government's Skilling for AI Readiness (SOAR) programme further aims to integrate AI competencies into the national education framework, making these skills accessible across the country.
