on the field. This was a period when Jadeja was consistently delivering match-winning performances with the bat, ball, and especially with his electric fielding. Dhoni's tweets were crafted in the style of the popular 'Rajinikanth facts' memes, portraying Jadeja as a larger-than-life figure who could achieve the impossible. These posts quickly went viral, and the moniker 'Sir' was born.
A Joke Born from Excellence
Dhoni's humorous posts were a mix of sarcasm and genuine appreciation. One of his most famous tweets stated, “God realised RAJNI sir is getting old so he created sir ravindra jadeja.” Another followed a dramatic IPL match where Chennai Super Kings won off a no-ball on the final delivery. Dhoni tweeted, “When you give Sir Ravindra Jadeja one ball to get 2 runs he will win it with one ball to spare !!” While framed as jokes, these tweets highlighted Jadeja's knack for being in the right place at the right time, pulling off unbelievable catches, and turning games on their head.
