How you dry your hair is just as important as how you wash it. Vigorously rubbing your hair with a coarse towel is one of the fastest ways to rough up the cuticle and create frizz. Instead, gently squeeze excess water out using a soft microfibre towel or even an old cotton t-shirt. This method absorbs water without causing friction. Whenever possible, let your hair air-dry. If you must use a blow dryer, use it on a low heat setting and apply a heat-protectant spray first. Also, never tie your hair up when it's wet.
