In a significant move to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry demands, professional services firm EY India has joined forces with Delhi University's prestigious Shri Ram College of Commerce. They have launched a 12-month immersive program
called AI VIBE, which stands for Varsity for Innovation, Business and Economics. Announced as a centennial milestone for SRCC, this initiative aims to prepare the next generation of professionals for an economy increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence. The fully-sponsored program is highly selective, open to second-year undergraduate and first-year postgraduate students at SRCC, with an initial cohort of 100 students. This collaboration signals a pivotal shift in higher education, focusing on creating a new learning model that embeds real-world business challenges and emerging technologies directly into the student experience.
The Core Skills on Offer
The AI VIBE curriculum is designed to be comprehensive, moving beyond theory to build practical, in-demand capabilities. Students will receive immersive training in a range of critical areas, including machine learning, Generative AI, and AI agents. The course also covers decision intelligence, data analytics, financial technologies (FinTech), and blockchain. Crucially, the program places a strong emphasis on the ethical application of these powerful tools, with dedicated modules on responsible AI and AI governance.
