Indian IT giants are investing heavily in upskilling their workforce. Companies like TCS and Infosys have trained hundreds of thousands of employees in AI-related skills. However, industry body NASSCOM draws a distinction between being 'AI-aware' and 'AI-native'. The real demand is for professionals who possess not just technical skills but also strong engineering judgment.
