The Newest Acquisition: A Versova Sky Pad
The latest buzz surrounds a new luxury apartment Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have purchased in Mumbai's upscale Versova neighbourhood. According to property registration documents, the celebrity couple spent ₹18.29 crore on the 2,644-square-foot home
in the Godrej Skyshore project. The deal, registered in July 2026, also includes three dedicated car parking spaces—a prized commodity in Mumbai. This purchase further cements their presence in the city's high-end real estate market and adds another valuable asset to their growing collection of properties.
The Gurugram Palace: An ₹80 Crore Marvel
Perhaps the most magnificent of Kohli’s properties is his sprawling bungalow in DLF Phase 1, Gurugram. Valued at an estimated ₹80 crore, this home is often described as a modern-day castle, spread across a 500-square-yard plot. The architecture is known for its unique interlocking geometric design. Inside, the house is a blend of luxury and comfort, featuring a state-of-the-art gym, a sprawling bar area perfect for hosting parties, and even a unique hanging swimming pool. This property serves as a base for Kohli and his family when they are in North India.
The Mumbai Mainstay: A ₹34 Crore Sky Bungalow
Before the new Versova flat, the couple's primary Mumbai residence was a luxurious apartment in Worli. Purchased in 2016 for approximately ₹34 crore, this home is located on the 35th floor of the Omkar 1973 towers, offering breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea. The 7,171-square-foot space is a four-bedroom unit that the couple has reportedly customised extensively. With high ceilings and private decks extending from each bedroom, the apartment is designed to feel open and airy, blending sophisticated interiors with the stunning Mumbai skyline.
The Alibaug Retreat: A Tranquil Getaway
For escaping the city's hustle, Kohli and Sharma have invested significantly in Alibaug, a serene coastal town near Mumbai. They own a luxurious holiday villa in Avas Living, a community focused on wellness. This particular villa was reportedly acquired for ₹6 crore. The couple's love for the area is clear, as they have expanded their holdings over time. In 2022, they purchased an 8-acre plot for around ₹19 crore, and in January 2026, they invested a further ₹37.86 crore in adjacent land, bringing their total estate in the area to over 13 acres. The farmhouse they built features a temperature-controlled pool and sprawling gardens, making it a perfect sanctuary.
The Delhi Roots: Where It All Began
While he now owns some of the country's most glamorous properties, Virat Kohli's journey started in a more modest family home in West Delhi. Located in Meera Bagh, Paschim Vihar, this is the house where the cricketer spent his childhood and formative years. Though not as opulent as his current residences, it holds deep emotional value and represents the starting point of his incredible journey from a promising young talent to a global sports icon.
