Mumbai Rickshaw Joyride
Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan recently gave his fans a refreshing glimpse into his down-to-earth side by opting for a traditional rickshaw ride instead
of his usual luxurious mode of transport in the bustling city of Mumbai. The actor took to his social media platforms to share a charming video documenting his experience, clearly relishing the authentic journey through the vibrant streets. Capturing the moment on his Instagram stories, Varun was seen beaming as he enjoyed the rickshaw ride, playfully captioning it with "Rickshaw is wow." To add an extra layer of fun, he ingeniously incorporated his latest song, "Wow" from his upcoming movie 'Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai,' as the background music for the clip, effectively linking his personal enjoyment with his professional endeavors. This spontaneous outing offered a candid look at the actor connecting with the city's pulse in a simple yet memorable way.
Film Release Date Shuffle
Varun Dhawan's much-anticipated film, 'Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai,' featuring co-stars Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde, has navigated a complex journey regarding its theatrical release. Initially slated for June 5, its date underwent several changes. It was first postponed to June 12 to steer clear of a clash with Yash's film 'Toxic,' which was set for a June 4 release. However, in a surprising move, the release was then brought forward to May 22. Ultimately, on April 29, a new poster confirmed the film's return to its original June 5 release date. This final decision was influenced by Yash's announcement that 'Toxic' would no longer be released on June 4, allowing the 'Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai' team to revert to their initial plan.
Clash and Producer's Stance
The upcoming release of 'Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai' on June 5 introduces a new box office confrontation, as it is scheduled to premiere just one day after the release of Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor's film 'Peddi' on June 4. This development raises questions about whether the Varun Dhawan-starrer might once again adjust its release date, given its history of postponements. When addressed on this potential clash, the film's producer, Ramesh Taurani, conveyed a pragmatic outlook. He shared with Hindustan Times that such conflicts are often unavoidable in the film industry, stating that in a year with 52 weeks, it's common for releases to overlap. He firmly asserted that there are no plans to alter the release date of the Varun Dhawan film, indicating a resolve to proceed as scheduled despite the proximity to a rival release.
