This colossal road trip, spanning an incredible 20,000 kilometers, is envisioned as an adventure akin to a real-life road movie, brimming with the spirit of exploration and discovery. The overarching themes guiding this monumental undertaking are World Peace, the celebration of 100 years of Indian Cinema, and the promotion of Kerala Tourism, underscoring a profound connection to global harmony, cinematic heritage, and regional pride. The adventure is slated to kick off on June 15, 2014, marking the beginning of what promises to be an unforgettable passage across diverse landscapes and cultures.
Route Through Continents
The meticulously planned itinerary for Lal Jose and his companions is a testament to their adventurous spirit and extensive preparation. Their epic journey will commence in Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of India, before making its way north towards Nepal. From Nepal, the route takes a dramatic turn towards Tibet, a region of breathtaking beauty and spiritual significance. A crucial waypoint in their expedition will be the base camp in Nepal, from where they intend to proceed towards the sacred Manasarovar. The expedition then continues through a tapestry of nations, traversing China, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan. This ambitious leg of the journey will involve crossing several countries that were once part of the expansive Soviet Union, each offering unique cultural encounters and historical perspectives. Ultimately, their relentless drive will lead them across the vast Eurasian landmass, culminating in their arrival in Europe, a continent rich with history and diverse landscapes.
