Higher and Technical Education Department is actively engaged in discussions to establish a new policy that will permit the digital issuance of degree certificates. This proactive measure is being explored to ensure that students can obtain their hard-earned degrees through platforms like DigiLocker, even before they attend their official convocation ceremony. This streamlined approach is designed to eliminate the bureaucratic hurdles and potential delays that have historically plagued the distribution of these crucial documents, thereby empowering students with their qualifications much sooner.

The traditional convocation ceremony, while a cherished milestone, has often been associated with prolonged waiting periods for students to actually receive their degree certificates.
