Kids can participate in problem-solving challenges with Chase, enjoy adventure play inspired by Skye, and get hands-on in a construction zone with Rubble. Marshall's firefighting activity and a virtual reality driving adventure with PAW Patrol vehicles offer further excitement. The festival, held at the Courtyard, Phoenix Palladium, ran from May 16th to June 7th, with varying timings on weekdays and weekends, promising a memorable family outing.

The Irish House in Powai offered a lively Karaoke Night, transforming a regular evening into a musical celebration. The event featured comfortable floor seating and a curated selection of non-alcoholic beverages and bites, creating a relaxed and communal atmosphere. This gathering was designed for music enthusiasts to connect, share their passion, and enjoy an evening of collective musical expression in a setting rich with history and character.
Dance and Storytelling
The Experimental Theatre at NCPA presented an evening dedicated to narrative through movement, featuring two distinct performances. The first, AVATARANA – The Story of Natya, was a solo story-theatre piece by Ramaa Bharadvaj. It reinterpreted a classic tale from the Natyashastra, incorporating dance, theatre, and humor with performances in English and Sanskrit. This work aimed to make ancient theatrical principles accessible through expressive movement and original music. The second performance, Beyond Frames, showcased Kathak dance by Vijayshree Chaudhary, reinterpreting popular Indian film melodies with intricate footwork and expressive storytelling, offering a blend of classical technique and cinematic nostalgia.
Contemporary Love Story
Shakuntala Awaits, staged at The Studio Theatre, NMACC, presented a modern adaptation of the ancient epic love story of Shakuntala and Dushyant. Written and directed by Isheeta Ganguly, the play explored the complexities of modern relationships, distance, and the search for understanding in a globalized world. It followed Shakuntala's journey in Mumbai as she navigates familial pressures and personal transformation after Dushyant's departure. Performed by Arjun Gupta and Prerna Talwar, the narrative seamlessly shifted between locations and internal thoughts, delving into themes of diaspora and selfhood. The drama-comedy, praised for its fusion of mythology and contemporary feminism, resonated universally by examining relationships through both presence and absence.
Candy Safari Experience
Phoenix Marketcity Mumbai transformed into a vibrant, safari-themed wonderland for Candy Safari, an immersive family-friendly attraction. Following the success of its previous edition, this year's event featured whimsical landscapes with giant lollipop giraffes and candy-textured installations. Visitors explored themed zones like the Lollipop Savannah and Chocolate Forest Trail, culminating at the Cup Cake Treehouse. Interactive elements included an Infinity Lights tunnel, a Sprinkle Pool, and Safari Jeep rides, alongside an RC Car Obstacle Racing Arena. Families could also meet and greet the official mascot, Lolly the Lion, creating sweet memories during this visually engaging summer experience.

At The Studio Theatre, NMACC, an extraordinary live musical event featured artist Sudan (Pritpal Sudan) accompanied by an expansive 12-piece ensemble. This collaboration included his noted Bad Posture Quartet, saxophonists, a string trio, guitars, and backing vocalists. Sudan's performance showcased a fresh fusion of electronic, synth-driven sounds with R&B and pop influences. The concert offered a deeply immersive experience, presenting his music with rich, layered arrangements and dynamic collaborative energy, distinguishing it as a unique presentation on his tour.
Bar Hopping Adventure
The Permit Crawl offered a unique city tour for enthusiasts looking to explore Mumbai's traditional drinking establishments. The curated experience began at Permit & Co. in Lower Parel, serving as the starting point for a lively journey through several other bars. Participants had the opportunity to discover classic drinking spots, forge new connections, and enjoy a spirited evening. The crawl provided a structured yet fun way to engage with the city's nightlife, culminating in a return to the initial venue for further enjoyment.
Puffin Flavor Showcase
Nōdo in Oshiwara hosted a special, limited-time event called The Puffin Weekend, introducing five brand-new Puffin flavors. This short-format culinary experience featured innovative sweet, savory, and experimental creations, allowing guests to explore diverse tastes of the popular viral sandwich. The new additions included Cookies & Cream, Tiramisu, Sesame Tofu, Egg Salad, and Mince Chicken Puffins. This event provided Mumbai's food enthusiasts a curated opportunity to sample these unique variations of the Japanese Cream Sandwich over a three-day period, celebrating culinary creativity.
