What is the story about?
Rolling Loud, widely billed as the world's largest hip-hop festival, is set to return to India for its second edition on December 12 and 13, 2026.
The announcement follows its debut in the country in November 2025, which drew 65,000 fans to Loud Park in Navi Mumbai. Punjabi star Karan Aujla became the first Indian artist ever to headline the global festival during its inaugural edition.
The 2026 edition promises another multi-genre showcase, with an upcoming lineup expected to pair marquee international hip-hop heavyweights alongside prominent homegrown talent, accompanied by large-scale on-site festival experiences. Details regarding the official venue and full artist roster are scheduled to be revealed in the coming weeks.
Matt Zingler, CEO and Founder of Rolling Loud, said: "The first year showed us exactly why we wanted to bring Rolling Loud to India. The energy from the fans was incredible, and seeing international artists share the stage with some of the best talent coming out of India made it really special. We’ve always believed hip-hop is global, and India is becoming an important part of that story. Year two is about building on what we started and taking it even bigger."
Rahul Ganjoo, CEO of District, said: "When we brought Rolling Loud to India, we were confident it would resonate. What we saw in year one went further than that: the kind of love for a festival at this scale that we haven't seen before in the Indian market. That response is what's shaping how we're building the 2026 edition. We're excited to have India experience the World's Largest Hip-Hop Festival once again."
Held on November 22 and 23, 2025, the debut edition featured a star-studded lineup including global acts Central Cee, Wiz Khalifa, and Don Toliver, alongside Karan Aujla. The roster also brought together prominent South Asian and Indian names such as DIVINE, NAV, Gurinder Gill, Wild Wild Women, AR Paisley, Sambata, and Yung Raja.
The festival is produced in partnership with District and presented by Budweiser 0.0, SHEIN, and HSBC India, with tickets set to be sold exclusively through the District platform.
